Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI)

Party's Background: SDPI was formed and declared on 21st June 2009 at Delhi where the selected persons from different past gathered and sanctioned the contribution of the Party. Later on 18th October 2009, approximately 1200 selected delegates from all over the country gathered in the Moolankar Hall, Delhi and publicly announced SDPI. The occasion of 18th October 2009, the popular Slogan of SDPI “Freedom from Hunger, Freedom from Fear”, was announced.

Formation of SDPI is not just adding another name in to the plethora of political parties in the county. It was rather a presentation of a new political vision for the people of India. It was a real perception of the vibrant India and formed after a thorough study and analysis of post independent India.

SDPI’s aim is to build an India of equal rights for all, through empowering the people politically. The party was registered with the Election Commission of India on 13th April 2010. SDPI is a gradual and systematic evolution towards political empowerment of weaker and marginalized sections in the country. SDPI is gradually increasing its presence and presently it is working in almost 23 States of India with millions of Party Cadres and members. At this time, Party has its offices and State bodies in 13 States and initial introduction in other 10 states.

SDPI is gradually increasing its presence and presently it is working in almost 23 states of India with lakhs of Party cadres and members.
In Karnataka, the Party has firmly established its feet in 20 districts, wherein the Party elected district committees, assembly, ward, panchayat and branch committees. Party has thousands of cadres and members working through both agitative and electoral politics.

ü Working for Freedom from Hunger & Freedom from Fear
ü Against imperialist forces
ü Against bribery and corruption
ü Against communal politics and fascist forces who are on the verge of dividing India on the basis of caste, creed & religion
ü Voice of Muslims, Christians, Dalits and OBCs
ü Working to establish social justice and equality for all the citizens of India
ü Working for establishing the Welfare State, where all citizens could be ensured free education,       health and food security
ü Working for the development of farmers and labors
ü Against social evils
